At 6:00 in the morning on pilgrims gather at the Chapel
to celebrate the dawning of Easter Day.
The sky starts off overcast but clears quickly
as the sun rises above the horizon.
The Chapel in darkness as the preparations
for the service are made.
The Easter fire is lit, our service starting
in the open air.
Here we see Bishop Stephen lighting
the Paschal Candle from the Easter bonfire.
We then move to the closed Chapel door
where Bishop Stephen calls out for the
door to opened for the King of Glory.
Once inside the Chapel, the service continues.
And we celebrate our Easter Day communion.
After the service we all share in an informal and welcome breakfast.
